Northern Lights is a one-of-a-kind reversible hand-felted poncho in purple, blue, green, turquoise, and pink tones.
The main side is inspired by the colors of the northern lights, with shifting shades of blue, green, turquoise, violet, and pink moving across the surface. The reverse side is predominantly purple, with a quieter, more minimal composition and texture created with yarn accents.
Although visually rich, the poncho is very lightweight. It is handmade from superfine merino wool and viscose, with silk, Tencel, and selected yarns worked into the felt to create subtle texture, movement and changes in sheen.
The reversible construction gives two distinctly different looks in one piece. The shorter front and longer back create an easy, elegant drape.
