Gelme’s Designs creates one-of-a-kind wearable art for women who value individuality, craftsmanship, and distinctive personal style.
Each piece is handmade using wet felting techniques with superfine merino wool, silk, Tencel, viscose, and other carefully selected fibers. Because of the texture, movement, drape, and sculptural qualities of the work, the pieces are best experienced in person — touched, tried on, and seen on the body.
I am currently looking for a small number of carefully selected physical boutiques, galleries, and concept stores whose customers appreciate independent design and pieces that are not mass-produced.
I am especially interested in consignment partnerships, allowing the store to present a curated selection of Gelme’s Designs without purchasing inventory upfront.
How the partnership works
Gelme’s Designs provides a small curated group of one-of-a-kind pieces selected for the boutique and its clientele. The boutique displays and sells the pieces in its physical location. When a piece sells, the boutique retains an agreed commission and Gelme’s Designs receives the remaining amount. Pieces that do not sell during the agreed consignment period can be returned.
The initial selection can be kept intentionally small so both Gelme’s Designs and the boutique can learn what resonates with the store’s customers before expanding the partnership.
Why Gelme’s Designs may be a good fit
The work is one-of-a-kind or produced in extremely limited quantities, so customers are unlikely to encounter the same piece elsewhere.

Retail prices generally range from approximately $70 for smaller accessories to $400+ for statement wearable-art pieces.
Gelme’s Designs is interested in building long-term relationships with stores where the work genuinely fits the customer, rather than placing pieces in a large number of locations.
Partnerships are considered individually, including the selection of pieces, consignment period, commission, shipping, insurance, and return arrangements.
