Ivory Sands is a one-of-a-kind reversible nuno-felted poncho in soft white, ivory and warm sand tones.
The two sides have slightly different personalities. One side is lighter and predominantly white, while the reverse brings forward more of the warm sand and beige tones. Nuno-felted silk and organza are worked directly into the wool, creating translucent areas, raised textures and subtle changes in sheen across the surface.
A flowing organic line in warm caramel tones moves through the design, while sculptural silk and fiber details add dimension without making the piece feel heavy.
The asymmetrical silhouette is shorter in front and longer in back, giving the poncho graceful movement when worn. Its light neutral palette makes it especially beautiful over simple summer whites, creams and natural tones on a chilly evening, while also transitioning easily into fall.
