A one-of-a-kind reversible sculptural scarf hand-felted from superfine merino wool and plant-based fibers.
The muted grey-blue wool is layered with ivory, taupe-brown and small warm golden accents, creating an organic surface inspired by natural color and texture.
Sculptural undulating edges give the scarf movement and allow it to frame the neck and face beautifully. An integrated felted loop holds the scarf in place without a separate pin or fastener.
The two sides offer distinctly different appearances. The decorated side reveals the layered fiber work and organic color variations, while the reverse is quieter and more understated, giving the scarf two different ways to be worn.
Because the fibers are incorporated during the wet-felting process rather than printed onto the surface, variations in texture and color are integral to the piece.
