Along the Riverbank is a one-of-a-kind hand-felted shawl inspired by water, woodland colors and dragonflies. Deep blues, turquoise, sage and forest greens flow across the surface, while a dimensional light-brown fiber line winds through the composition like a branch. Delicate dragonflies rest among the layers, turning the shawl into a small landscape created in fiber.
Handcrafted from fine merino wool and embellished with viscose and Tencel fibers, the shawl has a richly textured surface with subtle sheen and beautiful variations in color. The irregularities and dimensional details are intentional parts of the handmade design.
Generously sized, it can be draped loosely around the shoulders, wrapped more closely for warmth, or secured with a brooch for different looks.
